Scotts Miracle-Gro products are known for zapping weeds dead. But it turns out they could be killing decidedly more attractive creatures -- birds.

  1. It’s so horrifying. I doubt they’ll really get punished, too. $4million+$500K isn’t that much to a company as big as that company.

    • You’re absolutely right of course – the bigwigs get away with everything and that sort of money is loose change to them.

When you consider that – at a rough estimate – around about 730 million birds were poisoned they were let off bloody lightly. Some of those birds are already on the danger list!

I have never used Scotts products, and now I never will.

That’s so sick and horrible. What on earth goes on in someone’s mind to lead them to do something like that? I hope the court hands down a very severe sentence indeed.

    • Sadly, if you read the full article, the millions they were made to pay out is just a slap-on-the-wrist fine to Fat Cats like them.

Why would they even do something like this? It’s pure, unmitigated evil!

    This is beneath contempt!
