Today was the day that I was filmed for a documentary to promote epilepsy awareness. I had actually been incredibly nervous, but three lovely people (plus one adorable toddler) turned up on the doorstep and completely put me at ease.
After some introductions, some explanations of what I could expect and a bit of a general getting-to-know-you chat, the cameraman took a look around our garden and selected a spot for my interview – right next to my beautiful purple Cosmos.
It was a very relaxed, informal affair; I almost forgot that I was being filmed, and it felt more as though I was chatting with old friends.
I am delighted that I have been chosen to be one of the voices for epilepsy to a whole new audience. This is more than I ever dared to hope for!
This time tomorrow D and I shall be unpacking in our hotel room for the Discworld Convention. While I’m gone, please behave and have fun with your weekend!
Many, many thanks go to Epilepsy Action for giving me the opportunity to be a voice for them. I am proud to speak on your behalf.

Excellent! You look very relaxed and that’s a nice dress you’re wearing. Now we just need to see the footage.
Nice photo of you… looking so confident and pretty! I hope we get to see the video!
Well done! And you do look lovely!
